Q1:What size UPAC is right for my bike?
Answer 1:The UPAC was designed to fit most any bike with a tail rack and hard luggage. The size depends on what you want to carry in the pac. For instance in a medium size bag the following can fit:
2 bathroom bags, two towels, sweatshirts, soft shoes and other small Items.
Q2:How quick can I get a bag?
Answer 2:Normally, shipping is within 4 days. This can vary if I am at a show or rally.
Q3:How many people work for you?
Answer 3:Jo's Custom Creations is just the creator. That's me, Jo Smithdeal. I have been doing this since 1992. At times I have help from my two children, but as far as the design, fabrication and sewing, I do it all. Many of you know that I also take my machine to different events.
Q4:What kind of custom work can you do?
Answer 4:Over the years I have made many different kinds of bags. Some of the designs were worked out together. Others come straight from the customer. I had one client that sent me full size patterns of what he wanted. As long as I feel I can accomplish what my customer wants, I am willing to try and accommodate those special needs.
Q5:How does the bag stay on the bike?
Answer 5:There are 8 bottom-mounted web tabs on the UPAC. They are located in places that make securing the pac an easy choice. The tabs at the rear line up with the slots in the BMW rack. You have only to slide them through the slots and tie underneath. A lot of customers feel safer securing around the pac. Whatever the customer feels is the safest is what you should do. I do recommended nylon rope instead of bungees. There are also a number of packing systems using webbing straps. Any of these work well. If you do secure the pac with webbing straps, it can interfere with accessing your articles during your travel time.
